Environmental Policy

Santoku actively promotes, with the participation of all employees, the provision of more effective and environmentally friendly products, as well as business activities with a reduced environmental impact, throughout all stages from development and design to sales of metals, alloys, and compounds centered on rare earths and rare metals.

1. We promote the prevention of environmental pollution and environmental protection, and strive for the continual improvement of our environmental management activities.

2. We comply with environmental laws and regulations, environmental regulations set by national and local governments, agreed-upon requirements, and our own voluntary standards.

3. We actively engage in the production and development of various materials for magnet and battery-related products that contribute to environmental sustainability.

4. We focus on the following key environmental conservation activities:
   ① Resource conservation & recycling ② Chemical substance management ③ Prevention of global warming

5. To achieve this environmental policy, we establish environmental objectives and work continuously to reduce our environmental burden and prevent pollution.

6. This environmental policy, environmental objectives, and environmental management system shall be reviewed periodically and as necessary.
